Chang Liu

Chang Liu was born in China and is now based in Joplin, Missouri. She joined Achievable in March 2025 as a full-stack software engineer, contributing to the development of scalable web applications and innovative educational tools.

With a diverse professional background, Chang is pursuing a part-time Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to transitioning into tech, she served as a full-time STEM teacher at Iberville School District from 2023-2024, where she designed engaging curricula and mentored students. In 2022, Chang earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering from Wuhan University, laying the foundation for her analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a full-stack engineer, Chang specializes in building responsive, user-centric platforms using modern frameworks like React, Node.js, and Next.js. Her unique background in education informs her ability to bridge technical complexity with accessibility, ensuring Achievable’s tools meet the needs of diverse learners. 

Outside of coding, Chang writes novels in her spare time, blending her love for storytelling with intricate world-building. She lives with her husband, a cat, and a dog.
