Dr. Jessica Freedman

Jessica Freedman, M.D., is the Founder and Chair of MedEdits, a leading medical school admissions consulting firm. Prior to founding MedEdits, she held a faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, ultimately deciding to dedicate her career to guiding students through the highly competitive MD/DO admissions process. Drawing on her experience as a medical school and residency admissions officer, faculty member, medical educator, and emergency physician, Dr. Freedman found the greatest fulfillment in caring for patients and mentoring aspiring physicians. Inspired by this passion, she and her team at MedEdits help students pursue their genuine interests and craft compelling personal narratives that lead to exceptional admissions success.
