Shiblu Sarker

Shiblu Sarker is a civil and environmental engineer with a specialization in Water Resources Engineering, trained and educated, and is currently based in the U.S. He joined the FE Civil education space as an instructor and content developer, where he focuses on creating clear, exam-oriented learning materials for FE Civil candidates, including concept explanations, worked examples, and practice problems aligned with NCEES specifications.

With a strong academic and professional background, Shiblu holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and has over six years of teaching experience. His expertise spans hydrology, hydraulics, water treatment, and infrastructure systems. In addition to exam preparation, he brings real-world engineering perspective from his work in public-sector water and environmental engineering, helping students connect theory to practice.

Shiblu’s experience as both an engineer and educator has shaped his structured, fundamentals-first teaching style. He is particularly passionate about simplifying complex concepts, developing efficient problem-solving strategies, and mentoring aspiring engineers as they progress toward professional licensure.

Outside of teaching and content development, Shiblu enjoys academic research, technical writing, and building educational tools for engineering students. He is especially proud of helping candidates gain confidence in core civil engineering principles and successfully take the first step toward becoming licensed professional engineers.
