My professional background includes seven years at Fidelity Investments, two years at the DE Shaw Group, six years at Athena Capital Advisors (Boston), and eight years at Windrose Advisors (Boston). I have managed broker/dealer operations, advisory operations, trading and compliance, and I have been part of investment technology startups. I now manage homes on Airbnb for myself and a small number of clients.
My teaching style for FINRA exams focuses on the practice exam questions once the candidate has finished the book, learning and understanding the fundamentals of each topic and how it relates to real-world practices, including the investment world and one's own personal financial management.
