Hi, I’m Ron, founder of A1 Math Tutoring. I help students move beyond formula memorization to build genuine conceptual understanding, geometric intuition, and lasting mathematical confidence.

• Teaching Experience: Former instructor at high school, college, and university levels.
• 25 Years in Technology: Analytical problem-solving and mentoring in corporate IT.

My Method: Classic Problem-Solving

Rote memorization is fragile. Using structured problem-solving inspired by George Pólya, I teach students to:

1. Deconstruct Problems: Strip away wordiness to uncover core mathematical concepts.
2. Visualize with Purpose: Use diagrams and spatial intuition to reveal patterns.
3. Scale the Challenge: Solve intuitive, simpler models before tackling complex systems.
