Phil McCaffrey has been tutoring math since the 3rd grade, when his teacher turned his desk around so that he could ask the questions in the math game; she wanted another student to win for once. He started tutoring the SAT in 1994 after a near-perfect GRE. He is a certified math teacher and has taught classes at multiple high schools and tutored for thousands of high school juniors.
