I had responsibilities for training financial advisors and retail support staff. I spent 10 years with a well known FINRA exam prep firm. I know how questions are written.

My career in financial services spans more than 25 years — working across securities, investment management, and insurance. During that time, I earned and maintained licenses across the full spectrum of FINRA and state exams, including the Series 7, 63, 65, 66, 24, 52, and SIE, as well as a North Carolina Life and Health Insurance license.

I pursued my education with the same intensity I bring to tutoring — earning a 4.0 GPA at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, culminating in a Master of Science in Finance. I also hold the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation, one of the most demanding credentials in the investment advisory profession.

After years in the industry, I found my greatest satisfaction in helping others navigate the licensing process. These exams are challenging — not because the concepts are impossible, but because the material is dense, the stakes feel high, and most candidates are preparing on their own. I change that equation.

My experience in the financial industry spans a period of over 30 years including positions in sales, management and training. I have taken and passed (on the first try) the Series 3, 6, 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65. Throughout my career I have provided extensive training and tutoring on the SIE, Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65 and 66.

I bring many years experience as a financial professional and college lecturer. Formerly a Series 7 professional with Charles Schwab, Barclays and Putnam Investments. My teaching approach is tailored to your needs.

Professional background: 15 years across a mix of Fortune 500's and startups in customer insights, market research, and competitive intel. Education: MBA, undergrad economics. I work 1-on-1 with candidates to identify knowledge gaps, build confidence on weak areas, and develop a test day mindset. I've walked this path several times and I use plain language to untangle the things that trip up most test takers.
