Howard Freedman

Howard Freedman is the founder of Financial Aid Consulting and a nationally recognized expert in college affordability. With over 20 years of experience, Howard has helped thousands of families navigate the financial aid process and find affordable pathways to higher education. His background in financial management, software consulting, and organizational leadership laid the foundation for his success in this field. Howard served as the ACCESS program manager for Boston Public Schools, where he provided financial aid support to over 2,700 high school seniors and earned a citation from the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He is a graduate of Northeastern University (BS) and Suffolk University (MBA), and a published author of Making College Happen. Howard continues to speak and write widely on college funding, committed to empowering families to make smart, informed decisions about paying for college.
