How I bounced back and conquered my finance licensing exam

Erik is a former education technology and healthcare insurance sales professional transitioning to finance.
When I started my journey to become a finance professional, I didn't realize how much work would be required for the licensing process. Having been assigned Pass Perfect by my employer, I thought I was set up for success. Then the test day came, and I failed my exam by 1%. One question dictated my future, and it hurt so much worse than I could've imagined.
Beaten, but not down and out, I realized Pass Perfect was anything but "perfect", and turned to Achievable for help. I had read a lot of comments praising them on Reddit, and with a money-back guarantee if I failed again, I had nothing to lose.
How Achievable changed my prep strategy
From the moment I began my course, I could immediately tell Achievable was different. From using analogies and curated videos to break down tough topics into a digestible format, I was already understanding the material far better. Every chapter was thoughtfully written and contained a quiz at the end to reinforce knowledge. Even small disclaimers like "hey, you might've gone through this a bit fast, consider rereading" were much-appreciated check-ins that encouraged deliberate learning.
Achievable also has phenomenal customer service, and anytime I reach out with a question, I get a response the next day or even the same day! They genuinely care about your success and want to help in any way they can, including taking constructive criticism and the like.
Building confidence for test day
Lo and behold, when I retook my exam, I passed! Compared to my first time, while I of course still had test nerves, I was able to confidently answer most questions, and their end-of-course dump sheets? SO helpful for last-minute memorization to immediately write on the scratch paper you get inside the test center!
Effective review makes all the difference
I owe the overwhelming majority of my success to Achievable, and for any future test takers: respect the material, or the test will disrespect you. Rote memorization can only take you so far; actually understanding why you got an answer wrong (or right!) will help you immensely in the long run.
